Apostille Direct London provides consular legalisation for documents that need to be used in Yemen, which is not a member of the 1961 Hague Apostille Convention. This means your UK document must be certified by the FCDO and then further legalised by the Yemen embassy or consulate in London before it will be accepted.

Legalisation requirements for Yemen

Document for use in the Republic of Yemen first needs to be legalised by way of FCDO Apostille and then submitted to the Consulate of Yemen for further attestation.

Commercial documents require further attestation by the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) before submitting to the Consulate of Yemen for further legalisation.

FEES

The consular fee is £70 per private document if submitted by the document holder OR £400 if submitted via an Agent.

PROCESSING TIME

The consular processing time is likely to be 1-2 working days for the legalisation of private documents OR 8-10 working days for the legalisation of commercial documents via the London and Arab-British Chambers.
